OUR STORY
1981
Noa Noa is created as a reaction to the monotonous and uniform fashion of the time. Sensuality and creativity need to be reinstated in clothes.
The two founding brothers, Harald and Lars Holstein, come from a ceramist family, where aesthetics and craftsmanship are intrinsically linked, and this becomes the driving force behind Noa Noa.
Noa Noa is our name and essence. Noa Noa, a Tahitian word, which means 'simple and harmonious', was incidentally the name of Gauguin’s muse. For us, Noa Noa, is a tribute to the creativity and beauty that exists in a feminine universe.
1982
The first store opens in Helsingor in Denmark and soon expands with more stores.
1995
Noa Noa is honored with the prestigious Danish design award, Guldknappen (The Golden Button).
1998
Noa Noa communicates to women all over the world, as beauty is a universal language. The first store in Stockholm is opened.
2003
Noa Noa miniature is launched. Functional and beautiful children’s clothes with feminine details for the girl who wants to look like a girl. Noa Noa continues its roll out to several markets.
2007
Noa Noa is sold to the Danish private equity fund AXCEL.
2010
Noa Noa baby arrives.
2014
Today, Noa Noa clothes are sold in 25 countries in more than 180 concept stores. Seventy are privately owned retail stores, and 110 are franchise stores. Furthermore, Noa Noa is sold in more than 1,000 multibrand-stores around the world.

COMPLETE MARKETING SOLUTION
In return for a monthly fee, Noa Noa offers full marketing support. An international skilled team of Visual Merchandisers delivers comprehensive guidelines and training in optimizing the store. Packaging and seasonal marketing material are available throughout the year. Furthermore, Noa Noa is constantly expanding, its online presence to promote the brand and showcase a full range with the aim of telling the story to the growing online audience, including social media and a club platform.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A FRANCHISE PARTNER
• Substantial business experience, preferably from fashion. However all partners with the right sense of business are more than welcome to contact us
• You should be prepared to work on the floor
• Initial investment of minimum 40.000 GBP for initial stock and shop fitting
• Startup fee and deposit to be placed with Noa Noa
Once the store is opened, you will receive ongoing support such as evaluation and planning meetings, staff training, purchase analysis and planning, marketing planning, visual merchandising visits, collection presentations and much more. With Noa Noa as your partner, you will be committing to a retail concept that has a proven and well-documented track record and is already widely known and appreciated by a loyal customer base.
